Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Sapar Isakov signed an order according to which Momunkulov Esenkul Duyshonkulovich was appointed as a director of the Agency for Investment Promotion and Protection of the Kyrgyz Republic. On November 16, 2017, the Head of the Government presented a new head to the Agency's staff.
«The agency will take an active part in creating a well-functioning system of government departments and institutions to improve the factors that are relevant to potential investors, such as infrastructure development, fulfillment of obligations and pre-trial decisions of investment disputes. The agency will become a reliable partner in protecting the rights and interests of domestic and foreign investors», — said Sapar Isakov, introducing the new head of the agency team.
The Head of Government emphasized that the implementation of the investment policy of the Kyrgyz Republic by a single state body should create additional conveniences and opportunities for both domestic and potential foreign investors.
«One of the main tasks for the Agency will be the interaction of state bodies for the implementation of investment projects and prompt response to the changes in necessary regulatory legal acts to improve the investment climate. The fulfillment of this task will allow us to increase the quality of provided services and to minimize barriers in the conduct of our activities for investors and exporters in our country», — said Sapar Isakov.
The Prime Minister called on representatives of state bodies and the business sector to engage in active dialogue with the Agency, pool experience, anounce initiatives and opportunities in order to achieve common aspirations to improve and improve the business environment in the country.
«I believe that state structures, domestic business and our potential foreign partners will actively work with the new Agency. Working together in an equal partnership, we will be able to achieve the desired results, namely, to attract new technologies, create jobs, and improve the investment climate and business environment», — concluded Sapar Isakov.
It should be reminded that the day before the Head of Government signed a decree according to which the status of the State Agency for Investments and Export Promotion under the Ministry of Economy of the Kyrgyz Republic was upgraded. In this regard, it was transformed into the Agency for Investment Promotion and Protection of the Kyrgyz Republic.
